Tape me Tender is geïnspireerd door de transgendergemeenschap en de vele uitdagingen die zij moeten overwinnen om deel uit te maken van de heteronormative maatschappij. Tape me Tender is een subtiele knipoog naar het tapen van het lichaam.
Dit werk maakt deel uit van een 8 maanden durend onderzoek naar analoge fotografie en drukwerk. "If you know, you know" is mijn meest queer werk tot nu toe – een rauwe, ongefilterde zoektocht naar queerness, kink en festisj. De serie, volledig gefilmd op analoge film, omarmt textuur, imperfectie en authenticiteit. Dit werk probeert zichzelf niet uit te leggen – het spreekt in code, in authenticiteit. Het nodigt degenen die het weten uit om zich gezien te voelen, en degenen die het niet weten om zich open te stellen.
Een viering van queer verlangen in al zijn gelaagde, wellustige en diep menselijke vormen.

Tape me Tender is part of an 8-month research into analogue photography and printing. The series follows an “if you know, you know” approach—raw, unapologetic, and rooted in queer experience. It does not aim to over-explain, but instead communicates through feeling, symbolism, and coded visual language.
